Essay 1: A New Generation of Architects is a relic of the first conversations we had about architecture, right before founding MESURA in 2010. The publication revisits part of the writing we did during a retreat in the Swiss Alps inside the wooden house of architect Peter Zumthor and elaborates on some of the key characteristics that shaped our studio: An ego-less design, architecture as a made-to-measure-service, and a deeply rooted optimism towards finding new solutions.
